And the former Ireland captain comes out on top in Steven Gerrard's opinion as the ex-Liverpool captain revealed in a chat with the Daily Mail.
"Keane No 1. The rest? They’re all different. Frank’s the best goalscoring midfielder, Scholes the best footballer, Vieira the most difficult opponent... I loved playing against all of them," said the veteran Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder.
