Spurs firmly establish title credentials
Christian Eriksen, like he has done so many times before for Spurs, popped up late to give his side all three points in what should be considered a season defining game.

Spurs have been motoring along nicely all season, happily allowing the hype to pass over them as Leicester City cast a shadow over the rest of the league.
With a young core of English talent the driving force behind their attractive style of play, Spurs have capitalised fully on this season's unpredictability with Chelsea and Manchester United long gone out of the title race, and City's ever seeming reluctance to take control and romp home to the title with their expensively assembled squad of superstars.
Spurs bid to win a first league title since 1961 has been well and truly ignited after this result as we face down one of the most exciting climaxes to a Premier League season yet.
A result like today's is the perfect platform to launch one final assault for the Premier League crown, particularly after Leicester's loss today.
Successive top of the table losses for City as defensive frailties show
City's stop start season continued today as for the second week in succession they tasted defeat at the hands of a fellow title rival, following last week's 3-1 defeat at Leicester.
The loss of Kevin DeBruyne has certainly seen City's momentum decelerate considerably, but its their defensive vulnerabilities that remain their Achilles heel, which is ludicrous when you consider the resources at the club.
The return of Vincent Kompany was meant to signal an abating of their defensive frailties, and for periods they did look far more assured at the back.
However, the cracks appeared once again for Eriksen's winner as Nicolas Otamendi jumped out of the defensive line toward Erik Lamela, creating the space for the Spurs midfielder to ghost between Kompany and Aleksander Kolarov and in for the winner.
Going forward, one would think that City can only improve with the timely return of Vincent Kompany as they head into the tail end of the season.
Arsenal back on track
Arsenal managed to get their own title bid back on track today as they closed the gap further on Leicester thanks to Danny Welbeck's late, late show at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger said that his side showed immense character to come back following Danny Simpson's red card when they trailed while Claudio Ranieri rued the decisions of referee Martin Atkinson.
Its a result that once again blows the title race wide open just as Leicester began to open up a gap. Whoever wins it from here is anybody's guess.
Liverpool bounce back in style
After being dumped out of the FA Cup by West Ham and having not won since their 5-4 thriller against Norwich on the 23rd of January, Liverpool finally gave Jurgen Klopp something to smile about with six of the best.

Today's rout of Aston Villa should serve as a platform for them to push on and secure a Europa League place for next season.
As for Villa, relegation really can't come soon enough as they were just awful and may be one of the worst teams to ever play in the Premier League, a thought echoed by Sky Sports' Jamie Carragher.
