Rugby's World Player of the Year Dan Carter is expected to make his debut for Racing 92 this weekend.
The French side play Northampton Saints in the European Champions Cup on Saturday afternoon, with Carter expected to start at fly half. It is his second spell in France, and Carter will hope it will end batter than his 2008-09 spell with Perpignan.

After a disappointing 2007 World Cup, the New Zealand Rugby Union were afraid of losing some of their star players to the big money in Europe. They made exception to Carter's exceptional talents and allowed the fly half to leave for a season.
Carter signed a seven month deal with the French giants to play from December 2008 until the end of the season. He only played five times for side, with four of those games coming in the Top 14. Perpignan reportedly payed €700,000 for Carter's sevices.
His Perpignan career ended after he partially ruptured his Achilles tendon in a game against Stade Francais. He only played 361 minutes on the pitch, scoring 45 points.
Lets hope for Carter's sake, that his career in Paris lasts a little longer.
