The NFL have found themselves another new London home

The NFL have today announced that from next season Twickenham is to host at least three NFL regular season games from next October until 2018.

The home of English rugby will join Wembley as the second stadium in London to host a regular season NFL game since 2007. Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium is also set to host games for at least ten years from when it opens in 2018.

The deal with the RFU, allows the NFL to host another two games at the stadium over the three year period if they wish.

Wembley has recently held three games in the stadium, with Kansas City Chiefs defeating Detroit Lions last weekend. The stadium has recently signed a deal with the NFL to host at least two games per year until 2020.
