'The body felt a bit tired after the Six Nations'

Connacht's Rob Henshaw made history on Wednesday, becoming the first player to win the IRUPA Nevin Spence Yound Player of the Year award for the third consecutive time.

The Athlone native has broken into Joe Schmidt's this season, forming an impressive centre partnership with Ulster's Jared Payne. Henshaw scored a try in the home win over England in the tournament.

Speaking at the awards on Wednesday night, he spoke about this weeks Pro12 game against Ospreys in the Sportsground.

Pat Lam's side are currently in seventh in the Pro 12 looking to move up a spot in the table to reach the Champions Cup next season.

Henshaw said the side will not be focusing on other results tomorrow afternoon and just trying to beat the Welsh side.

IConnacht will have had something to play for going into the last game of the season for "the first time in a while" according to Henshaw, adding that "it's massive for Connacht".

Pat Lam is expected to name his side for Connacht's must win game against the Ospreys later today.
