There needs to be a revolution at Milan

Ben Lyttleton joined Joe on Off the Ball to look back at the weekend's action in Serie A and La Liga.

After the weekend's loss to Udinese, AC Milan manager Filipo Inzaghi have imposed ritiro on the squad. Ritiro is where the training complex turns into a boarding school type scenario where the players stay at Milanello every night.

Inzaghi will not last to the start of next season, and with many players out of contract in the summer such as Nigel de Jong and Philippe Mexes a big revolution is expected in the playing and backroom staff next season.

The Turin derby also took place at the weekend, and despite Torino's win over Juventus, Ben and Joe discuss the troubles in the crowd and the fan culture in Italy.

In Spain, Barcelona's Three Amigos are on course to reach the 100 goal mark this season, with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar combining to score 97 goals as the Catalans stay two points ahead of Real in La Liga.

The trio are four goals behind the all time scoring record for Barcelona.

After his goal against Atletico in the Champions League, Javier Hernandez scored twice at the weekend for Real Madrid which Ben Lyttleton described as "doing an Adebayor" and feels the form may give the Mexican another year at the Bernabeu, praising the strikers goals per minute ratio.

Lyttleton praises Chicharito's contribution for Real since January and describes how his Manchester United form is coming back for the Mexican, while expanding his game.
