Transfer Talk: Is Mahrez going to follow Kante to Chelsea?

If you cant beat them, buy them.

That seems to be the mentality of Chelsea, as the look set to try and weaken Premier League champions Leicester City even further. After it was confirmed that N'Golo Kante had signed for them on Saturday, the Sunday Express claim they have know set their sights on Riyad Mahrez.

The Algerian international and PFA Player of the Year has yet to sign a new deal with Leicester, and the London side are hoping to take advantage of his uncertainty. Both Barcelona and Arsenal are also both reportedly interested in the star.

With reports that Real Madrid are looking to offload some of their galacticos, the star of the 2014 World Cup Jmaes Rodriguez looks to be on his way out the door. West Ham are interested in bringing Colombia superstar to Londonm but Slaven Bilic's side would have to smash their transfer record to get their hands on him.

Marca claim that Rodriguez is unsure if he can force his way into Zinedine Zidane's team for the new season, and could be tempted by a move to the Premier League.

John Stones continues to be linked with a move from Everton to Manchester City, but the Liverpool club may want striker Wilfried Bony as part of the deal. The Sunday Mirror claim that manager Ronald Koeman has been personally involved in the transfer negotiations, and wants it resolved quickly.

The Ivory Coast international could move to Goodison Park as part of a player-plus-cash deal, or the transfer could be made separately to the Stones deal.
