Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has made £27 million signing Luke Shaw train on his own.
The manager says Shaw understands his decision as he has aspects of his game to improve on.
The Dutchman has also admitted that the squad doesn't have the balance he wants and says it would have been easier to come into a club that was on a high rather than a low.
Van Gaal has spoken to the press ahead of their next pre-season game in America against Inter Milan.
