WATCH: Go behind the scenes in Conor McGregor's camp on the night of UFC 202

Conor McGregor came out on the right side of the fight against Nate Diaz last weekend, but on the day of the bout, as he and his camp prepared to walk out to the octagon, you could cut the tension with a knife.

As part of his Mac Life project, McGregor welcomed the cameras backstage and into the McMansion on the day of the build up to the fight as he prepared to make his way to the arena, and walk out in front of the crowd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The resulting short film captures the nerves and the atmosphere of a big fight in the UFC from inside the McGregor camp, showing him discussing tactics, limbering up, and the silent moments in which he gathers his thoughts right before he walks out.

There are also some clips of the aftermath of the fight, as McGregor fields interview questions and meets up with his team behind the scenes to celebrate the win.

Back in his dressing room, the Irishman paid tribute to his opponent's resolve, saying: "He's a tough b**tard [...] I knocked him down two or three times and he's still in me face."

UFC's own 'The Thrill and the Agony' for UFC 202 captures the aftermath from the other side for Nate Diaz, who couldn't believe that he had lost, and the respect shown between the two in the ring as McGregor tells the Stockton native that he's "an absolute warrior."
