Northern Ireland's Mark Allen is one of the most interesting and passionate players in snooker.
The 30-year-old is competing in Belfast in the Northern Ireland Open, where he was reached the Last-32, after beating both Mark Joyce and Michael Georgiou, but it was the performance against Joyce that riled the local star.
After his 4-1 win, Allen told Eurosport, that he felt he could have been distracted by Joyce's unnecessary chalking of his cue.
“He was chalking cue while I’m down on the shot, there’s just no excuse for that. He done it quite a few times in the match even after I said something, so there’s no excuse for that. It’s my shot when I’m at the table, I wouldn’t do when he’s at the table. Have some respect."

"Regardless of whether it’s Mark Joyce today who I dislike anyway, or whether it be anyone, it’s something that we as snooker players don’t do... You don’t try and put your opponent off. That's not the way we play".
Even before the match, Allen spoke of his dislike for the 33-year-old from St. Helens. The mid-match antics wont help the relationship.
"I don’t like Mark Joyce, basically he is a d**k, on and off the table. I doubt even his mum likes him."
People complain when we say nothing and complain when we tell the truth. You're a fickle bunch but I don't mind. I love you all
