A mass brawl broke out in one of Argentina's most heated rivalries just one week before the domestic league begins in a "friendly" between the two teams.
The game had to be abandoned after a very poor tackle that resulted in the brawl. La Plata Derby is contested between Estudiantes and Gimnasia and we might suggest no more friendlies between these two sides for fear of enticing the nastiness on display last night.
