WATCH: Ronda Rousey didn't hang around for long after stare down with Amanda Nunes

While the focus this weekend is firmly entrenched on the UFC 205 fightcard, there's an intriguing bout to look forward to next month.

Last November, Ronda Rousey's dominance in the women's Bantamweight was crushed by Holy Holm. A deflated Rousey then elected to take a year out from the Octagon but now she's back and she's determined to reclaim her belt.

In her absence, the Bantamweight division has witnessed some unexpected results and the belt has transferred from Holy Holm to Miesha Tate before settling with Amanda Nunes, at least for the moment.

Rousey recently told television host Ellen DeGeneres that the 29-year-old intends to retire from the sport soon. In addition to winning her belt back, avenging for the defeat to Holly Holm is another goal she wants to achieve before 'wrapping it up.'

For the moment however, her sights are fixed on the bantamweight belt and she will face the current holder Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December. The pair shared a customary face-off ahead of this weekend's fightcard at Madison Square Garden and Rousey was in no mood to linger after conducting the obligatory stuff.

After the photo shoot, UFC commentator Joe Rogan approached Amanda Nunes for an interview. Meanwhile, Rousey stormed off and left the stage.
