WATCH: Three Irish internationals scored in the Premier League last night

Martin O'Neill would have been pleased last night to see three of his attackers score in the Premier League on the same night.

Jon Walters, Shane Long and James McClean all found the back of the net against Norwich, Watford and West Brom respectively.

Walters' strike was the first for Stoke in their 3-1 win over Norwich. Mark Hughes' team now lie in seventh place in the Premier League.

Shane Long was also on the scoresheet as Southampton recorded an invaluable 2-0 win at home to Watford. Long scored the game's opening goal which won the three points for Ronald Koeman's side. It was Southampton's second League win since the first Saturday in November.

A James McClean goal helped Wes Brom to their second ever draw at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League era. The Baggies have failed to beat Chelsea away from home in ten Premier League games. McClean's goal pushed Tony Pulis' side away from the relegation zone. They now lie in 13th place.
