Ireland have made a massive step towards Euro 2016 qualification.
Jon Walters' second-half goal finally ended Georgian resistance at the Aviva Stadium to complete a 1-0 qualifier win.
The result puts the Boys in Green four points clear of fourth-placed Scotland, who lost 3-2 at home to Germany tonight.
Martin O'Neill's side struggled to break down a well-organised Georgian side that proved to be a threat on the counter-attack.
But after excellent skill from Ireland midfielder Jeff Hendrick on the left side, Walters was on hand to bundle in the all-important goal.
Jeff Hendrick's greatest moment in a green shirt. Brilliant set up for Walters. 1-0. Germany 3-2 up in Scotland. #coybig

O'Neill's team now face vital qualifiers against Germany and Poland, who occupy the top two places in the group, in the final group matches next month.
Scotland, meanwhile, have Poland and Gibraltar remaining on their fixture list.
