The debate continues in Manchester as fans soak in the news that David Moyes has been sacked after just 295 days in charge of Manchester United. His time in charge has been compared to that of Wilf McGuinness and Frank O’Farrell. Both lasted 18 months, although comparisons may be irrelevant given how much football has changed since.
Louis Van Gaal and Jurgen Klopp are among the favorites to replace the Scot, but Ryan Giggs may also be in the running having been placed in charge until a permanent boss is found.
