Zlatan Ibrahimovic rents out the main square in Malmo so fans can watch his homecoming match

One of the big games in the Champions League group stages is Paris Saint Germain's trip to Sweden to take on Malmö. 

While on paper PSG are the heavy favourites, the game brings a great storyline to the fore, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic gets to the return to the club where he started his career.

As one of the biggest names in football, the Swedish striker is now a global superstar, but it all started at his hometown club where he made a name for himself before travelling around the world, playing for some of the best teams in the game in the process. 

Given that he's a bit of a local legend, there were plenty of people who wanted to welcome him home, but wouldn't be able to make it to the stadium to see him in action. 

Ibrahimovic decided as a result to rent out the main square and show the game on a big screen so that everyone who wanted to brave the cold on November 25th can head to the centre of town and watch the match for free. 

 

I previously said that the game will be heard all over Malmö. Now I've also made sure that all of Malmö will be able to watch the game. I've booked the Main Square where the game on Nov. 25 will be broadcast live. All are welcome! More surprises await that day. I'm on my way ...

Zlatan also hinted that there are more surprises on the way for the residents of Malmö, so there are still a few tricks left up the big striker's sleeve it would seem.
