WATCH: "Vincent's set the trap and they fell right into it" - Anthony Moyles on Ballymun Kickhams

They shared the same purpose on the third Sunday in September but as ever at this time of year, club football pits inter-county team-mates against each other.

Dublin's senior club football final saw St Vincent's and Ballymun Kickhams, both resplendent with their All Ireland winning talent, go head to head at Parnell Park.

Ultimately, it was St Vincent's with Diarmuid Connolly in their ranks that came out on top against a Kickhams outfit who featured Dean Rock, John Small and James McCarthy on their side.

Former Meath footballer Anthony Moyles joined us on OTB AM to review the action and at the same time having the honour of becoming our first ever guest on our new morning show.

"It's strange. They just got caught in a bit of a scenario whereby they dropped Davey Byrne back and had people back covering off Connolly and covering off in front of Mossy," said Anthony of Ballymun.

"But when they actually got the ball, they actually gave a lot of ball away. They tried to kick it into their full forward line. So obviously, John Small's brother is in there and has been having a very good year and they tried to find him very quickly, very early but Vincent's just dropped Ger Brennan back."

He added that "Vincent's set the trap and they fell right into it."

"The only time they started to get a bit of joy was when they actually ran at Vincent's," said Anthony.
