SOCCER

Juventus last night gave themselves a real chance of making their first Champions League final in twelve years.

Goals in either half from Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez gave the Serie A champions a 2-1 win at home to defending champions Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo's away goal may prove vital for the defending champions, however, when the sides meet at the Bernabeu next Wednesday.

Tonight, Pep Guardiola will lead the away side at the Camp Nou for the first time as his Bayern Munich side take on his former charges of Barcelona.

When the sides last met in a Champions League semi final, Bayern ran out 7-0 aggregate winners.

Kick off tonight is at 7.45.

GAELIC GAMES

There's action tonight in the Leinster Football and Munster Hurling Minor Championships.

In Leinster, Offaly will host Kildare at O'Connor Park from 7.15pm while Laois and Wicklow will go head-to-head at O'Moore Park fifteen minutes later.

Tonight's Munster Minor Hurling play-off will see Limerick and Waterford going head-to-head at Semple Stadium from 7pm.

It's also semi finals night in the Connacht Junior Football championship, with Leitrim facing Galway, and Mayo taking on Sligo.

BOXING

Manny Pacquiao has been hit with a lawsuit because he didn't disclose his shoulder injury in his defeat against Floyd Mayweather Junior.

Two men from Nevada are said to be suing on behalf of "all persons who purchased tickets; purchased the pay-per-view event; or who bet money on the event."

Pacquiao's team say they did tell the United States Anti-Doping Agency about the injury.
