SOCCER

Bayern Munich pulled off a stunning turnaround in their Champions League quarter-final last night.

They beat Porto 6-1, overcoming a 3-1 deficit from the first leg, and meant a 7-4 aggregate win for the Germans.

Barcelona beat Paris St Germain 2-0, which is 5-1 over the two games.

In tonight's action, the two Madrid teams are scoreless, ahead of Real hosting the second leg, while Juventus have a 1-0 advantage heading into their game at Monaco.

In Scotland, Celtic can go 8 points clear at the top of the Premiership with a win away to Dundee.

Kick off at Dens Park is at 7.45.

Both Jack Grealish and Patrick Bamford are in the newspapers today regarding their possible international futures.

According to reports Grealish will end his self imposed sabbatical from the Irish under 21's in September and may even declare for the senior set up.

Meanwhile, The Mirror report that Championship player of the season with Middlesbrough, Patrick Bamford is considering declaring for Ireland.

Bamford who's on loan at the Riverside stadium from Chelsea has played at the under 21 level for England but played once for the Ireland under 18's.

SNOOKER

Antrim's Mark Allen is into the second round of the World Snooker Championships. 

He beat Ryan Day 10-3 last night. 

Ronnie O'Sullivan needs just three more frames from his match with Craig Steadman to progress to round two of the World Championships. 

The Rocket is 7-2 up heading into this morning's session.
