HURLING

Seamus Callanan will be available for Tipperary's Allianz League semi final with Waterford on Sunday.

The forward's suspension was quashed by the Central Appeals Committee last night having first been rejected by the Central Hearings Committee.

Alan Cadogan has been named at corner forward in the Cork side to face Dublin in the first of Sundays double header in Nowlan Park.

Stephen Mc Donnell returns to corner back while Mark Ellis is over his injury and is at centre back.

GOLF

Graeme Mc Dowell is tied for the lead on 5 under going into day 2 of the RBS Heritage in South Carolina.

Kevin Phelan, Damian McGrane and Peter Lawrie are all set to miss the cut at the Shenzen Open in China.

RUGBY

Undoubtedly the fixture of the night sees SSE Airtricity Premier Division leaders Dundalk travel to Shamrock Rovers this evening. 

Kick off in Tallaght is at 8. 

While there are 7.45 starts every where else, with in-form Bohemians playing host to St. Pat's in a Dublin derby at Dalymount.

HORSE RACING

There's plenty of action here at home today, with Tipperary hosting a seven-race card from 3pm.

While they go on the all-weather track at Dundalk this evening where the first is off at 5.35pm
