'Every time they'd win a gold medal, the first thing they'd do is look for someone to thank'

Back in December documentary-maker and boxing journalist Brin-Jonathan Butler spoke to Off The Ball about US-Cuba relations within the prism of boxing.

In the interim, he has written a book called The Domino Diaries: My Decade Boxing with Olympic Champions and Chasing Hemingway's Ghost in the Last Days of Castro's Cuba which explores many of the themes entwined boxing, international relations and his personal journey.

Tonight, he joined us on the show to talk about that book and what he learned during its compilation:

'Every time they'd win a gold medal, the first thing they'd do is look for someone to thank'
