Australia name their squad for International Rules test

Australia have named their squad for next month's one off International Rules test against Ireland in Croke Park next month.

The 22 man squad only features four players (Andrew Gaff, Dyson Heppell, Jarryd Roughead and Jake Stringer) who have never played the round ball game before.

The one off test takes place on November 21st in Croke Park as Ireland look to regain the Cormac McAnallen Cup they lost in Perth last year after a 56-46 loss.

All members of the squad have previously earned an All Australian selection and includes the 2015 All Australian captain Robert Murphy and the current AFL winning captain Luke Hodge. 14 of the 22 man squad were also part of last years victorious squad.

The Australians travel to New York for a training camp that includes a match against an American GAA team before travelling on to Dublin for the game,
