It's an eighties version of Frankenstein.
Directed by David Cronenberg, the film stars Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis (bear with me on this) and tells the 'everyday story' of an eccentric scientist who, after one of his experiments goes wrong, slowly turns into a fly-hybrid creature.
In the league final post match reaction, of all people, Kilkenny's TJ Reid reminded me of a key scene in the movie, delivered by Geena Davis, when the true creature is revealed. Here's a reminder.

How many managers would love just one win?
TJ Reid scored 0-15 to take his total for the Allianz Hurling League to 1-81 and the Ballyhale star's three points from play were even exquisite as his striking from placed balls.
A team doesn't become a bad one, over one 35 minute performance, and in fairness Jason Forde could do no more, scoring 2-12 for Tipperary, taking his league total to 7-72.
But that left only 5 points served up by his team mates over 70 minutes just won't do during the summer.
Maybe there will be valuable Premier lessons learned that could serve them well later in the year but after the match TJ Reid pointed out the Cats still have Richie Hogan, Colin Fennelly and Paul Murpjhy yet to return - a chilling prospect for the rest of the hurling world.
