As a frantic Premier League season winds down and draws to an end we, you, everyone, has to get used to the idea of life, and Off the Ball, without weekly football action. Luckily, for all aforementioned, no sooner are we stepping over the prone figure of the slumbering Premier League than we’re waving madly at the summer of GAA championship action belting over the hill towards us. And today we’re getting right into the spirit of the summer with the first GAA football panel of the year.
Oisin McConville, Conor Deegan and Michael Meehan are this week’s panel and we’re going to deal with the most pressing problem for football people outside the capital – what do you do with a problem like Dublin? Are Gavin’s men unstoppable? Are we making too much of the apparent conveyor belt of talent coming from the city?
Three time major winner Padraig Harrington joins us on the line, talking punditry and the Players Championship at Sawgrass.
We’re not quite done with soccer just yet though, and we have plenty to keep us going until tomorrow’s final day action. We’re speaking with Keith Andrews ahead of the Championship playoff between his side Brighton and Derby County.
Andy Mitten speaks to us about Manchester United and the future under Van Gaal and we have Miguel Delaney and Kenny Cunningham with us to preview tomorrow’s last day of what has been an incredible season.
