Kerry and Mayo will renew their rivalry on Sunday when the sides meet for a place in the All-Ireland final.
Off the Ball's Saturday panel looked back at some of the big games between the sides down through the years and Kerry's Declan O'Sullivan and Darragh O'Sé and Mayo's David Brady joined Nathan Murphy ahead of the big match.
O'Sé recalled the build-up to their dominant 2006 final win over Mayo where preparations began two years previously and speaking to Nathan Murphy, he said: "We definitely went out and you can only control the 'controlables' in my opinion. And, what can you control by that? The pace at what you start at.
"We decided to go for it. Now there was no plan to go for goals or anything like that but we decided we were really going to set the tempo early on. Come out for the traps as quick as we could.
"To be fair to Pat Flanagan, who was doing the physical side of it at the time, we were coming in in very good condition and it was kind of a couple of years plan. He started in '04 and he told us in '04 that we would be peaking in September of '06 - it was a good guess now! If I was a betting man, I would have got on it in '04!
"He did say it at the time, to be fair to him," he added.

Kerry lost the 2006 Munster final to Cork before rebounding with wins over Longford, Armagh saw them gain revenge over Cork in the All-Ireland semi-final.
They went on to dominate Mayo in the final and ran out 4-15 to 3-05 winners at Croke Park.
