Donegal advance to the Ulster final

Donegal have reached the Ulster Final for the fifth year in a row, defeating Derry in the semi final.

Rory Gallagher's side won the game by 1-9 to 0-10 in Clones. Martin O'Reilly scored the games only goal, ten minutes into the scecond half.

The reigning Ulster champions will now go on to face Monaghan in the Provincial Final. It will be the third year in a row the sides have met in the final. Monaghan were victorious in 2013, before Donegal gained revenge last year.

Meanwhile, Wexford caused a shock in Round 1B of the Football Qualifiers. They defeated Down by 2-16 to 2-11 in Wexford Park. In the evening's other qualifer, Leitrim's poor record through the backdoor continues. The lost to Louth in Drogheda by 1-17 to 0-11.

Earlier today, Armagh defeated Wicklow by ten points in the Athletic Grounds.
