Ahead of Dublin's clash with Tyrone on Sunday, we looked back at some of the counties' previous matches with Paddy Christie and Joe McMahon this evening.
Talk quickly turned to 2005's draw and replay, Joe recalled that the atmosphere in Croke Park that day was, "Something that I never experienced."
On that occasion Tyrone ultimately progressed, Paddy Christie believes that their experience of winning big knockout matches got them over the line.
"No matter where you look you’re screwed," Paddy added, commenting on the challenge of marking Tyone's forwards as they swapped positions.
Joe told Off The Ball that Tyrone traveled to HQ confident that they had the "ammunition" to beat the Dubs and that their first priority was to suck some of the energy of the Dublin support and to, "Quieten the crowd."
Things boiled over when the teams met in the league in 2006 as the so-called 'Battle of Omagh' raged.
Both players argue that amid the ugly scenes no punches were landed and that it was little more than "handbags."
Paddy told Joe Molloy that games between the teams had some niggle.
"That’s what you get between two teams who want to win," he continued.
2017
The Dubliner is cautious about this weekend's semi final, he told OTB that he hopes that the Dubs will establish an early lead and that he will be concerned if they are within touching distance after 50 minutes.
Meanwhile, Joe believes that Tyrone will target Dublin's kick-outs and that a draw may be on the cards.
