"If we didn't do it this year, would we ever do it?" - Keith Rossiter

"It's been a tough couple of years. We have been knocking on the door and kept getting pushed back every time. It's about time the door opened for us".

Those were the words of Keith Rossiter last night on Off the Ball. The 31-year-old was part of the Oulart-The Ballagh side that defeated Cuala on Sunday to win the Leinster Club Hurling Championship. The Wexford champions had lost four finals in a row from 2010 to 2013 before crossing the line at the weekend.

"The fear to win is a terrible thing really", Rossiter told Off the Ball, as the side struggled to win the final in the  four year period. He said the side struggled with expectations after losing to O'Loughlin Gaels in 2010. They lost the 2011 final to Coolderry.

Oulart-The Ballagh got knocked out of the Wexford Championship last year and the side were in a relaxed mood on Sunday after retaining their county crown. "That was the first Leinster final that I played in, that there was no pressure", Rossiter added.

"To get to five Leinster finals, is crazy for a small club like our own" the former Wexford star told Off the Ball as he spent the day bringing the Leinster trophy around the schools in the Oulart and The Ballagh parishes.
