"Mayo have one question to answer I think Kerry have six or seven"

Dara Ó'Cinnéide and David Brady joined Off The Ball this evening to discuss yesterday's heavyweight clash between Kerry and Mayo and to look ahead to next weekend's replay.

"It wasn't a roller coaster, because the trajectory was just one way and it was up at the max," Brady told Joe Molloy.

Ó'Cinnéide added that he found himself "bursting out laughing at the intensity of it," as the action unfolded.

The drawn game offered more questions than answers and David Brady believes that it's hard to guess which strategic changes Kerry will make:

"I couldn't separate them on Saturday, I'll be honest, I can see a lot more clearer now ... I think the basic summation is that mayo have one question to answer I think Kerry have six or seven questions," he told Off The Ball.

While the main variable for Mayo will be their approach to dealing with Kieran Donaghy. Brady expects O'Shea to have a different role in five days time.

He argued that the Kingdom took a major gamble by going man-to-man in defense yesterday and leaving vast amounts of space for Mayo attackers to run into.

Ó'Cinnéide believes that Kerry face a "Catch 22" situation where they can either press and disrupt Mayo's distribution, or concede ball up-field to offer greater security in their half.
