Meath manager Mick O’Dowd on facing Dublin and building a squad

Dublin have won six, drawn one and lost one of their last eight championship clashes with Meath since 2002 with the Royals last win against the Dubs in 2010 Leinster semi final.

Last year there were only two points between them with 13 minutes to go before the Dubs did their usual trick of pulling away.

Both Dublin and Meath have recorded very big scores in their two championship games to date.

Dublin’s total in their wins over Laois and Wexford was 4-46 while Meath’s total against Carlow and Kildare was 9-29.

Ahead of this game Meath manager Mick O’Dowd sat down for a chart with Newstalks Dave McIntyre.
