Galway's Michael Donoghue was delighted his side claimed the Leinster Hurling Championship but expects Wexford to push on and have a crack at the All-Ireland title.
The Tribesmen won by 0-29 to 1-17 in front of a crowd of over 60,000 at Croke Park on Sunday.
Speaking to Off the Ball's Dave McIntyre after the match, he said: "I think when you win, the performance is good. At the start of the year, this was our goal - to try and get to, and win, the Leinster final. When the job is done, it's a great feeling of satisfaction.
"I think even when they got the goal in the second half, we went down instantly and got a score back. There's great experience, great resilience in the team and a huge desire to succeed and a huge desire to win today. And, I think they showed that in abundance.

O'Donoghoe agreed that it being Wexford's first experience of Croke Park could have been a factor in the result, considering his Galway side have played there regularly over the last few years.
"Yeah, I think that's a fair point. You can't beat experience, be it good or bad and we addressed that ourselves last week. You know they had to draw on both the good and the bad. We said to the Wexford boys there that it will stand to them and I have no doubt they'll push on for three weeks time."
Addressing the tag of favourites as the chase for the Liam McCarthy Cup heats up, O'Donoghue said: I think we're very conscious and mindful of where we are. At this point in time, we know going forward that we're going to have to keep raising our own standards and when you get to an All-Ireland semi-final, the bar is raised again."
