Odhrán MacNiallais is to rejoin the Donegal senior football panel.
The Gaoith Dobhair clubman opted out of Declan Bonner’s set-up prior to the 2019 season, and also sat out the 2020 campaign.
But Highland Radio report that MacNiallais is poised for a Donegal return.
The 28-year old is unlikely to be able to train with his county teammates until February at the earliest.
The GAA confirmed on Tuesday that their original return date for county squads of January 15 had been pushed back due to the steep increase in COVID-19 infections.
