Legendary Tipperary hurler Jimmy Doyle has passed away.
The six-time All-Ireland winner, who was a key member of the dominant Tipp teams of the 1960's, died suddenly earlier today.
The stylish wing-forward from the Thurles Sarsfields club is widely acknowledged as one of hurling's all-time greats.
He was named in both the Hurling Team of the Century in 1984 and the Hurling Team of the Millennium in 2000.
