"We are happy to still be in the Championship" - Andy Moran

After 60 minutes of yesterday's All Ireland semi final, the Dublin fans on Hill 16 were planning their search for tickets for the Kerry game and the Mayo fans were getting ready for the annual post mortem.

Such was Dublin's dominance in that period, they led by seven points with only ten minutes left in the game. Somehow, Mayo scored 1-4 unanswered before full time and were unlucky not to win the game as the sides now prepare for a replay next week.

Andy Moran was the man who scored the equalising point and he spoke to Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan after the game ahead of next weeks replay.

"We wouldnt be happy at all with our first half performance" the Ballaghaderreen native told Oisin. Cillian O'Connor was Mayo's top scorer and slotted away the penalty late in the game that brought the Connacht Champions within touch of Dublin. Moran said that his team mate has "incredible composure for a young fella".

Mayo are now in a similar position to last year, where they lost to Kerry in a semi final replay after a six day turnaround and Moran thinks his side are better prepared this year.

Speaking of the replay last year, Moran said: "We probably struggled with it last year". He said the experience of last years replay should help the side next Saturday in Croke Park.
