Rory McIlroy says he wouldn't want "any one to go through" the "nasty" dispute he has had with his former management company.
Speaking today at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, for which he is the inevitable favourite, the world number one said he can't wait to head for America with the disagreement behind him.
McIlroy is also due in Dublin next week as a multimillion-euro court case with Horizon reaches a conclusion.

"It's not something that I would want any one to go through," the Ulsterman said at the final event on the European Tour’s Desert Swing. "It's very sort of tedious and nasty process at time.
"I'm going to be heading to the States regardless with it's off my mind. It will be nice once it's over and done with."
