Conor McGregor responds to steroid allegations made by Nate Diaz

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz met for the first time on Wednesday night in Los Angeles ahead of the hastily arranged March 5th fight in Las Vegas.

The two men exchanged to words throughout the press conference, but McGregor seemed briefly caught off-guard when Diaz proclaimed; "they're all on steroids".

McGregor seemed rattled by the comments before responding; "Don't be putting my name on steroids. I'm major against that. Don't put my name in the name of steroids Nate."

The Dubliner spoke to ESPN's Brett Okamato after the press conference and was quick to deny any involvement with steroids. The Dubliner called the claims "ridiculous".

"The most tested fighter in 2015 I was. I am very big against steroids. I have lambasted everyone that has been caught for steroids. My previous opponents have been caught and I butchered them... The fact that (Diaz's) two teammates took steroids and were caught. I pay no attention to it. It was ridiculous."
