Green Bay Packers end losing streak, in Philadelphia

Green Bay Packers ended their four-game losing run on Monday night, with a 27-13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles away from home.

The Packers went into the match, having lost four games in a row for the first time since 2008, when they lost five in a row, near the end of the season.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide-receiver Davante Adams combined twice in the first half to score two touchdowns, on the way to a 14-7 half-time lead.

Green Bay never trailed in the match, and guaranteed the win in the final quarter, after running-back Aaron Ripkowski scored from close range. Kicker Mason Crosby closed out the game, with a second field-goal to confirm the 27-13 win.

The Packers record for the season now lies at 5-6, but they still remain outsiders to reach the playoffs. Both Detriot and Minnesota have better records in the NFC North. Philadelphia's loss moves their season record to 5-6 as well, but they lie at the bottom of the NFC East.

Next Sunday sees the Packers welcome Houston to Green Bay for Week 13, while the Eagles travel to Cincinnati.
