'I still believe he's the biggest dog on the bloc'

At this French Open, clay-court genius Rafa Nadal could win his 10th ever French Open to become the first man to claim the same tournament that many times.

But as he gets to grips with Roland Garros this year, he has a few issues standing in his way from appendix surgery to poor form.

But ESPN's tennis analyst Luke Jensen still has faith in the Spaniard as he told Off The Ball: "I still believe he's the biggest dog on the bloc. It's just a matter of getting his groove back and making sure that he's confident in the way he's striking the ball. He plays with such violence that he has to be in very good rhythm and the early rounds will allow him to do that."

Jensen also said he does not buy into suggestions from high-profile tennis commentators that Nadal is reaching a terminal decline in his game, saying he is a "lifer" within the tennis fraternity.

But he does agree that some of Nadal's rivals "believe they can win and go into the lion's den and take out the guy who's been really been a master on clay for decades", citing the examples of Roger Federer and Pete Sampras.
