An investigation is underway after an Irish Setter which competed in dog show Crufts mysteriously died - with his owners believing he was poisoned.
Jagger came second in his class on Thursday but collapsed the following day after returning home to Belgium.
Tests have been carried out on his body, and a toxicology report is due next week.
The three-year-old Jagger was owned by Belgian Aleksandra Lauwers and England-based breeder Dee Milligan-Bott.
Mrs Milligan-Bott told The Guardian, "it was found the dog had beef cubes in his stomach that had been poisoned. The only day the dog had been left alone all week was while being left on the bench at Crufts while the judging of our other dogs was taking place."
In a Facebook post, she added she needs "you all to know that we can't and we won't think that this was the act of another exhibitor, if we thought this we couldn't go on, and the last 30 years would be a complete waste. So I ask all of you to unite in finding the perpetrator who did this. And let's continue to produce and breed our gorgeous dogs who we are all so proud of."
