'Aldo's kicking game is over-rated' - Conor McGregor

As the build up to Conor McGregor's UFC title fight against Jose Aldo simmers nicely, how the Dubliner reacts to the Brazilian's kicking game is something that has been under scrutiny.

But what does McGregor make of it all? Well, Off The Ball's Colm 'Wooly' Parkinson was down at the today's event in Dublin as part of the UFC's World Tour and asked the man himself.

"I hear this a lot about his leg kicks. I think his kicking game is over-rated. He's got a good, low right kick but he cannot kick high," McGregor told Wooly, adding that Aldo will be out on his feet after four minutes.

"The stance change is going to be a factor definitely because I'm a southpaw leading with my right foot and he's an orthodox leading with his left foot. I've won fights before where an opponent throws a heavy right kick and I check it and the foot snaps, the foot shatters. I've won fights with that before so if he throws a hard leg kick and it's not timed right and I check it, his foot will break. It happens many times when southpaws face orthodox. With the size and the range that I have, it will help me in that."
