Damien McGrane is just a couple of shots off the lead on 4-under after a 68 on the opening day of the Qatar Masters.
The Meathman is tied for sixth, while Spain's Rafa Cabrera-Bello leads by a stroke on six-under in the clubhouse.
Peter Lawrie is tied for 25th. The Dubliner finished on 2-under after a 70.
McGrane admitted he's nursing a wrist problem, but he told Nick Dye it hasn't affected his game:
