Anyone who follows Dwayne Johnson - former WWE Superstar, The Rock - on Instagram will know the relationship he maintains with his followers.
Johnson regularly posts updates from movie sets on films he's working on and from his "iron paradise" where he spends much of his time training.
But more than that, he remains connected with his followers by sharing videos of encouragement or thanks for their support. Always good humoured, the videos add a personal touch and give followers of his account a greater feeling of interaction than just a tweet or a post.
Today, Johnson took to Instagram to show his support for a young Mayo teenager battling stage four cancer.
The video was dedicated to Tommy Hanley and reminds him to eat and rest over the Christmas period. A subject that touches so many people globally, Johnson rightly described his fight against the disease as "inspiring".
"This one's for my buddy Tommy Hanley," he wrote on Instagram. "Just found out he's a huge fan, 15yrs old, living in Ireland and battling stage 4 cancer.
"I've never met you, but I already know so much about you and can tell you're an awesome, honorable and strong young man.
"Make sure you eat up dude and get your rest. Those two things are gonna help you stay strong during this fight.
"Stay being the coolest kid and always keep in mind how much you inspire all your family and friends - including me.
"We're all pulling for you Tommy! Stay strong and Merry Christmas to you and your family ~ Uncle Rock aka Dwanta Claus."
