Ronda Rousey has done her best to stay out of the public spotlight over the past 12 months since her defeat to Holly Holm at UFC 193.
Rousey was dethroned as bantamweight champion and decided to take some time away from the sport. In her absence the belt has changed hands twice, with Miesha Tate getting the better of Holm, before Tate herself was beaten at the main event at UFC 200 by Amanda Nunes.
The Olympic bronze medallist now returns to the Octagon for the first time in more than a year in the hopes of winning back her title. In the latest UFC Embedded video - which tracks fighters putting the final touches on their preparations - Rousey features sparingly as she continues to avoid the spotlight.
"I don’t care about anything except for winning this fight and I’m not spending energy on anything else," the 29-year-old has been quoted as saying in the lead up to the fight.
Meanwhile, the meeting of Cody Garbrandt and Dominick Cruz will see the men's bantamweight title be put on the line. In this latest video, defending champion Cruz talks about his weight cutting and how he views the final week before a fight.
