We're not long before Conor McGregor gets his shot at redemption at UFC 202 when he comes face to face with Nate Diaz for the second time this year.
Diaz handed the featherweight champion his only UFC defeat and the Irishman looks to rectify the result when he meets the Stockton native on August 20.
Speaking to TBS show Conan, McGregor had a special message for Diaz and did it in trademark McGregor fashion.
"Sorry I couldn't make the show this week but as a present I sent Nate in my place," he said via a pre-recorded video message.
"I hope he's not up on that stage wearing that same stupid black t-shirt he's never out of. The boy has been wearing that same t-shirt for the past 20 years.
"I am taking the contest very, very seriously. I have flown in different body types to replicate Nate's skinny tall frame... The boy won the lotto last time, he knows it I know it. August 20 I get my revenge and I look forward to it."
"The truth came out and the truth will be Aug. 20 when it goes down again," Diaz said.
Diaz defeated McGregor last March via a second round submission.
