Tommy Rooney was alongside former Galway Hurler James Skehill on the ground at the Gaelic Grounds for both the Division 1A and 1B finals earlier today where Limerick overcame Cork to lift the League title before going into the all important Championship in a fortnight's time. Meanwhile Clare narrowly beat Dublin to win the Division 1B title and set themselves up for the overly competitive Munster Championship.
