"It means I was drunk yesterday" - Let's Go Back To School of Rock

In 2004, a seemingly run-of-the-mill kids film hit cinemas starring Jack Black and a group of pretty talented children. With a fairly predictable plot line, Black's character, desperate for rent money, decides to pretend he's a substitute teacher but also manages to stumble across the rock band he's been searching for his whole life.

That's the pitch. And somehow it turned out to be one of the most beloved films of that year.

The real appeal of School of Rock was really that it had loads of heart, some great tunes and some pretty amazing kids - many of who never went on to work in the film industry.
