His work is to understand what being a jockey means for the body, and ensuring humans are built to do it.
He joined us to discuss what exactly is needed to succeed at the top table.
Johnny Ward also joined us on the line to discuss the Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown, where Apple's Jade won the ninth top-tier race of her career, and successive Christmas Hurdles.
