Chelsea have Alvaro Morata scoring regularly. Arsenal's new arrival Alexandre Lacazette has begun to make his mark. Tottenham and Manchester United's Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku have carried last season's form into 2017-18 respectively. And Sergio Aguero remains as potent forever at Manchester City.
So are we in the strongest era of Premier League strikers that we've ever had?
John Giles feels were approaching something close to that as the Leeds and Ireland legend told us.
"They're all so good in different ways but what's amazing about this is the amount of strikers that they have that have proven themselves week after week," he said.
"Morata has come into it and looks like he'll be a big success, Lukaku at Manchester United. When you look at teams over the years, one of the most difficult things to do was to get a striker who's going to get you a lot of goals.
"And all teams have strikers now that do it. If you go back to Liverpool, they don't have one doing it in particular. But you've got Mane, Salah, Firmino... these are fellas who can score goals and the emphasis obviously with a lot of the clubs - Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool - the main object is scoring goals. Unfortunately they're a bit lacking at the back.
"But the goalscorers that they have, I haven't seen as many good goalscorers in the Premier League for a long, long time if ever."
On Kane, who has stepped up to even higher level, with five goals in the Champions League already this season, John feels the Tottenham striker can be classed in the elite bracket.
"I think he is one of the top strikers in the world and I think he'll challenge, over the years to come, to be the best," he added.
