Laois to play Christy Ring Cup winners in Hurling Qualifiers

Laois have been drawn to play the Christy Ring Cup winners in the Preliminary Round of the Hurling Qualifiers.

In Monday morning's draw, Laois and Westmeath were in the pit to face the winners of the Christy Ring Cup Final. Laois were drawn to face Antrim or Carlow, with Westmeath now moving into Round 1.

Eamonn Kelly's side have already played in four Championship matches this year. Laois remained unbeaten in the Leinster Qualifier Group, before losing to Wexford in the Quarter-Finals.

Antrim and Carlow meet in the Christy Ring Cup Final this weekend. The Final takes place in Croke Park on Saturday evening at 5pm.

The game between Laois and Antrim/Carlow will take place on Saturday June 24th, with the winner joining Westmeath and six other teams in Round 1 of the Hurling Qualifiers.
