Man United: Fernandes starts - Lingard in the shop window?

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made a number of changes as his side face Norwich in this evening's FA Cup quarter-final.

He's chosen to keep the in-form attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes in the team, opting to not rest the Portuguese star ahead of their Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night.

Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes celebrates scoring his side's first goal of the game from the penalty spot during the Premier League match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London.

Pogba has made the trip but has not been named in the starting XI.

Romero starts in goal, with Dalot, Shaw, Bailly, Maguire in front of him.

Manchester United's Fred celebrates scoring his sides fifth goal during the Europa League match at Old Trafford, Manchester.

McTominay, Fred, Mata, Fernandes play in a midfield foursome.

Rashford and Martial have been rested as Lingard and Ighalo make-up the Man United attack.

Lingard gets his first start since February. His last goal for the Red Devils was in Ole's first match in charge, in December 2018.

There is growing speculation that he will leave the club this summer. His current deal expires in 2021.

The 27-year-old recently joined the stable of super-agent Mino Raiola.

Commenting on his future during yesterday's press conference, Solskjaer said:

"He has come back after the lockdown with a smile on his face and loads of energy... Last week he fell ill for a couple of days but we have done all the tests and he’s fine. He will be involved against Norwich now."

He continued: "Hopefully he can kick on. He has scored vital goals for us, and has been a vital player for us. Let’s see what the future will hold. At the moment he is looking really sharp and focused."
